Riley becomes a Robin

Reading City Football Club is proud to reveal that Riley who is a member of our Under 9s and plays for the Cityzens on both a Saturday and Sunday, has today signed for Sky Bet League Two Outfit Swindon Town’s Academy.

Here at Reading City Football Club, we always love to see our players progressing through the ranks and as a club are committed to providing youngsters with a fantastic pathway into senior football starting with Children aged 4 to 7 on Sunday Mornings at our Development Centre to our Under 18s.

As a club we have a proud record of developing players to reach their full potential and we are equally proud to be a steppingstone in the pathway for our youngsters who are exceptionally talented.

Riley initially joined the club as his dad Kieron has supported our Youth Section as a manager for many years with his elder son.

After three seasons as a Cityzen, we’d like to wish Riley all the best as he embarks on his exciting new journey with the Robins.

He’s got a very bright future ahead and we will of course continue to follow with interest.
