Let Us Play!

Today, the Berks & Bucks Football Association to whom we’re proudly affiliated has launched a new media campaign to tackle poor spectator behaviour in youth football and Reading City Football Club are proud to back this campaign.

The new campaign is centred around a video where each scenario and the language used, is based on real incidents which have been reported to Berks & Bucks FA over the past twelve months.

The Berks & Bucks Football Association’s Let Us Play campaign will run throughout the season and alongside national FA initiatives such as the Play Safe Campaign and you can find out more about it here

As a club we have always supported the FA’s Respect Programme because whilst every kick, goal and cheer counts, we know there’s one thing that counts even more - RESPECT!

Throughout the club we promote a positive environment, both on and off the pitch where we will embrace failure and not drill a must-win ethos into our players.

We are Reading City, and #WeOnlyDoPositive.

Everyone who takes part in the game has a 'Code of Conduct' to follow, laid down by The FA and we expect all members to follow and abide by these rules. You can find these in our Policies & Procedures section by clicking here.
