City Youngster Shaves Head In support of Best Friend

We want you to tell you the story of Archie who plays for our Under 10s as on Saturday he shaved his head in support of his best friend at school who was sadly recently diagnosed with a rare bone cancer.

Archie and a few of his other friends have decided to support their friend by shaving their heads as losing his hair is what he is most worried about.

Whilst supporting their friend, they have also chosen to raise money for Young Lives Vs Cancer.

The amount donated has reached a whopping 16K.

Club Chairman Martin Law had this to say: “Archie is a credit to the club, himself, and his family. At such a young age he has shown real maturity with this selfless act, and we are extremely proud of him. Our thoughts are with his friend and their loved ones at this difficult time”.
