Adobe visit the Rivermoor

We were recently visited by representatives from American multinational computer software company Adobe’s legal team as part of our Corporate Volunteering scheme.

Since launching our Corporate Volunteering scheme in August, we have been overwhelmed with interest from companies based in the local area. We were therefore very proud to welcome representatives from Adobe’s UK legal team from the multinational companies Maidenhead office to the Rivermoor recently who volunteered through their Create Change programme.

Club Chairman, Martin Law had this to say following Adobe visiting the Rivermoor:

“On behalf of everyone at Reading City Football Club, I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone from Adobe UK's Legal team for joining us for a volunteering day. As a club run solely run by volunteers it’s often difficult to find the time to complete some of the tasks in and around the ground, so to have several volunteers for several hours is a huge help and following their visit the ground is looking even cleaner and fresher than before”.

As a non-profitable organisation at the heart of the local community we strive to be recognised not just as a football club but a force for good within the immediate community and beyond, providing opportunities for participation in a range of sporting, social and cultural activities in the hope that these will lead to health and wellbeing benefits.

By booking a volunteering day you will be making a real impact, it’s also a chance for your team to have some fun, learn new skills and get out in the fresh air.

A day working with Reading City Football Club can help to boost employee morale, offer an opportunity for team building and personal development.
