Reading City U23s led by Deano Jones will take centre stage this weekend as they play at The Rivermoor on Saturday 25th November.
The Under 23s will be aiming to keep the pressure on the leaders of the Thames Valley Premier League when they welcome near-neighbours Burghfield Football Club to the Rivermoor on Saturday 30th November.
Deano Jones' youngsters have only lost twice this season and will be looking to keep up with the league leaders with another win on Saturday, our young citizens have frustratingly not been able to play for the last two weeks due to games being postponed as a result of the wet weather we've currently seen across the region, let's hope they can get going again this weekend.
Our young Citizens are in fine form having played 12 fixtures they've already scored 20 times this season and sit third in the league, only eight points behind the league leaders but have a few games in hand meaning it could be an interesting end to the season, in contrast, our opposition Burghfield sit in 9th place and have only won 5 of their fixtures this season, however, they have won their last three games and earlier this season we drew 0-0, so it will not be an easy encounter.
Kick-off at the Rivermoor on Saturday is scheduled for 2:00 pm. Admission is £6 Adults, £3 Concessions and Under 16s go FREE. We also offer Reading Football Club season ticket holders free entry, just show a valid season ticket at the turnstiles.
