Young Keeper has trials with Premier League side.

John Madejski Football Performance Programme which we're proudly partnered with has announced that young shot-stopper Pat Nash has recently had trials with Premier League side Newcastle United.

Pat who is a First-Year Student of the John Madejski Football Performance Programme, which we're proudly partnered with, has previously represented the Cityzens in the FA Youth Cup and featured as part of our first team in the FA Vase so we were delighted to hear the news that he's be trialling out at a Premier League side.

Everyone at Reading City Football Club would like to congratulate Pat Nash following his recent trial at Premier League outfit Newcastle United.

We'd also like to wish him good luck, as he heads to Brentford FC to showcase his talent.

Pat has represented the club in the FA Youth Cup through our partnership with Football Performance Programme at John Madejski Academy.

His performances in the FA Youth Cup also earned him a call-up to our First Team after leaving First Team Manager Simon Johnson impressed and featured in our matchday squad for our Buildbase FA Vase First Round Proper Clash against Lancing United in October.

A talented youngster who has a very bright future ahead of him and we wish him all the very best.
