Reading City Football Club is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager for our Under 23s Squad who compete in the Thames Valley Premier League’s Premier Division.
The successful applicant will work with manager Deano Jones throughout the upcoming 2020-2021 season. The successful candidate will be involved in team selections, have a voice in the dressing room and dugout and will be able to put on creative and innovative training sessions.
This is an unpaid, part-time role with a requirement of some flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends, plus travel to away matches. Travel to away games can be provided therefore having a driving licence is not essential but would be beneficial.
Any applicants must have good knowledge of local football whilst also possessing evidence of a strong coaching ability. Applicants MUST have a UEFA B qualification.
After a successful campaign, last season where we were in the Thames Valley Premier League's Premier Divison title race. Our City Under 23s will be hoping to improve on last season.

Candidates will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a confident manner, organisation & professionalism.
