Reading City Football Club would like to congratulate everyone involved with the Thames Valley Premier League after they were crowned winners of the "Best League" award at Friday nights Berks & Bucks FA Grassroots Football Awards.
Reading City Football Club Chairman Martin Laws who also serves as Chairman of the Thames Valley Premier League and was present at Friday evening's award ceremony which took place at Stadium MK, home of Milton Keynes FC.
Representatives of the Thames Valley Premier League will now attend Wembley for the FA Community Shield on Sunday 4th August along with all the other local winners of The FA and McDonalds Grassroots Football Awards where the national FA Award Ceremony will take place,
as they are automatically put forward for the National FA Awards.
The national winners, selected by a national judging panel, are chosen from a shortlist of local winners selected by County FAs across England.
