Our Principal Sponsors Parkers Properties will be donating a top of the range educational PC to seven different schools in the Reading area.
Here at Reading City Football Club we are proud to be at the heart of the Reading community and with a large youth section, we know homeschooling isn’t easy for anyone (parents, children, and teachers). We are therefore delighted to announce that the local offices of our principal sponsor Parkers Properties who are equally proud to be at the heart of the local community will be donating a top of the range educational PC to seven different schools in the Reading area.
Statement from our principal sponsor's Parkers Properties:
We’re extremely grateful to be part of such a fantastic local community, especially during these uncertain times which is why we have made it our mission to give back this year!
We know homeschooling isn’t easy for anyone (parents, children & teachers) so to help assist with home learning, our local Parkers offices will be donating a top of the range educational PC to seven different schools in the area.
Of course, there’s no way we could choose just one school or individual, which is why we’re asking you to get involved and help make a difference to someone in your local community.
How does it work:
All you have to do is nominate your chosen school and the reason why in the comments on your local Parkers Properties Facebook page.
All comments placed on your local Parkers Properties Facebook page will then go into a draw and the recipient schools will be chosen at random and announced on their Facebook page on Monday 1st February 2021.
The chosen schools will then donate the laptop to a child in the school who needs its most.
Be sure to follow your local Parker's Properties Facebook page to hear when the chosen school is announced and don’t forget to share with your friends, so they have a chance to nominate too!
And the good news doesn't stop there if you live within the Tilehurst area then the Tilehurst Branch of Parkers Properties are helping with printing school work whilst people are learning from home. If you need help with printing please do get in touch and they will be more than happy to help (completely free of charge of course!).
