Thanks to our ongoing partnership with John Madejski Academy's Elite boys' football programme we are delighted to once again compete in the FA Youth Cup as Reading City Under 18s.
Our youngsters will enter the tournament at the First Round Qualifying Stage and will be looking to get to First Round Proper having missed out last season after being knocked out in the Third Round Qualifying.
Since we launched our partnership with JMA on the 3rd September 2018 many of their student's have been given the opportunity to play men's football by either featuring in our Under 23s team or First Team. As a result of this opportunity many of those who have come to play for Reading City Football Club from JMA have had international call ups and been spotted by other teams, often higher up the football pyramid.
