Citizens proud to support Non-League Day 2019

Reading City Football Club are proud to be supporting Non League Day 2019 and hope to welcome many familiar faces as well as new faces through the gates at The Rivermoor on Saturday 12th October 2019.

Saturday will also be the second City Double Header of the season as both our U23s and First Team will be at home on the same day, what a perfect way to celebrate non-league day.

Our Under 23s will kick off at 2pm at Rivers, located next to The Rivermoor as they take on Woodcote in the Thames Valley Premier League. There is no admission fee for this fixture and we'd really appreciate you coming along to cheer on our youngsters.

Turning to the main event, the Citizens will welcome Easington Sports to The Rivermoor for their Hellenic League Premier Division clash kicking off at 3pm.

For non-league day we are waving our admission fees and are allowing supporters to pay what they want to watch this fixture, you can pay upon arrival at The Rivermoor

We are also offering free entry to all season ticket holders of any Premier League or Sky Bet Championship team who want their football fix during the international break, free entry will only be granted upon the production of a valid 2019/20 season ticket upon arrival at The Rivermoor.

It's not just season ticket holders who can take advantage of the free entry offer either, as we'd like to emergency services personnel to the game as well as members of our armed forces who are either serving or have ended their service within the armed forces. Please just show valid ID confirming your part of the emergency services and/or armed forces upon arrival at The Rivermoor.

Reading City's Head of Media and Public Relations Ryan Sheehan had this to say:

"Non-League Day is a fantastic opportunity for all grassroots football clubs to drum up support and here at Reading City Football Club we are delighted to have both our Under 23s and First Team playing at home allowing us to showcase both our senior squad as part of our non-league day celebrations
We hope to see plenty of people through the gates on Saturday, with it being the international break we have offered free access to season ticket holders of all Premier League and Skybet Championship clubs.
We've also taken this opportunity to offer free entry to all emergency services and armed forces personnel as we wanted to give something back to the people who protect us on daily basis".
