Simon Johnson continues to prepare his side for their 2020/21 Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division campaign and has arranged another pre-season fixture in what was already an action-packed schedule.
The Cityzens have already had a pretty tough pre-season schedule playing three games in seven days and were probably looking forward to resting on Saturday with no pre-season fixture scheduled in, however First Team Manager Simon Johnson has other ideas.
After being impressed by the intensity levels in training on Tuesday evening which he described on twitter as "off the scale", Simon Johnson has decided to put his squad's hard work in training to the test with a pre-season friendly against Southern League Division One Central outfit North Leigh, we will welcome the Oxfordshire based side to the Rivermoor for a 14:00 Kick-Off.
The cityzens have had a good pre-season campaign so far having won 2-0 against Camberley Town in their opening game, they then lost 1-2 to Oxford City Under 23s but bounced back at the weekend with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Hartley Witney.
Ahead of Saturday afternoon's game, the cityzens will take on Leatherhead tomorrow evening at the Rivermoor, making Saturday's test even tougher with only a day to recover. Saturday's visitors however will be raring to go on the back of a 4-0 win against Hanborough on Tuesday night.
