Reading City Football Club is proud to be backing Graham Neale from Caversham who has set himself a challenge of doing 1000 ‘keepy uppys’ without the ball touching the ground (within five attempts) to raise money for the Royal Berkshire Hospital here in Reading, during the coronavirus pandemic, and we have an update from him regarding his challenge.
Graham has informed us this evening, Saturday 2nd May 2020 that his leg has sadly swollen meaning that he will need to take a few days out of his training for this challenge.
Because of this, he has also informed us that he will be moving his planned date for the event to take place from the 9th May to the 16th May.
From everyone here at Reading City Football Club we wish Graham a speedy recovery and we can't wait to see him practicing his keepy uppy's again when he's ready to do so, until then we can help keep his spirits up by supporting him and giving a donation to his challenge, he's attempting to raise £5,000 and all money will go to the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, you can donate here - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/graham-neale
