A message from the boardroom

Club Treasurer and Facilities Manager Victoria Pyke issues the following message on behalf of the Reading City Football Club Board of Directors on the first day of the national lockdown.

As our football community sadly presses the pause button, we should all be proud of what has already been achieved by each and every team player, parent/guardian & coach.

We would also like to say a thank you to the volunteers; football managers, club board members and extra helpers for their support and help to make our community club a great success.

It has been a blessing to see the teams pulling together and we are constantly impressed by everyone’s dedication in how you’re adapting to this difficult year.

Club Chairman, Martin Law will shortly be announcing further information on how the club will adapt to the new restrictions and operate during the national lockdown, but on the first day of the new national restrictions coming into effect, we want to say Hang on in there and we will get through this and start again, stronger than ever.
