Following the launch of our U18s mid-week team which will compete in the Under 18 Combined Counties Football League and our Saturday Under 18s team which will compete in Division Four of the Thames Valley Premier League to complete our successful pathway from youth to senior football, interest has been strong with fifteen youngsters attending first trial session.

Reading City Football Club recently announced the final element of our Player Pathway to assist local youngsters making that step from Youth Football to Men's Football.

In addition to our already vast amount of progression routes, the final element provides youngsters with two further opportunities. The first of those two opportunities is in the form of an U18s mid-week team, which will compete in the Under 18 Combined Counties Football League, allowing players to pit their wits against non-league clubs and having the option to play in some fantastic stadiums throughout the season. Whilst the second option available takes the form of a new Under 18s team, which will be competing in Division 4 of the Thames Valley League.

Both these new opportunities started their journey an open trial evening on Thursday 16th June, at The Atrium Health Club, the partnership home of Reading City FC.

There's still time to attend a trial as they'll be running for the next few weeks, we hope to see you for the next one on Tuesday 28th June between 6pm and 8pm.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Dave Wyeth who will be in attendance at the trials via dave@cdgroundsmaintenance.com
