Reading City Football Club are preparing to break new ground this season, as we complete our pathway for players transitioning from youth football into men’s football.

We are proud to announce the launch of two exciting new opportunities, in addition to the already vast amount of progression routes available with Reading City Football Club.

The first of two opportunities is in the form of an U18s mid-week team, which will compete in the Under 18 Combined Counties Football League, allowing players to pit their wits against non-league clubs and having the option to play in some fantastic stadiums throughout the season.

The second option available will also take the form of a new Under 18s team, which will be competing in Division 4 of the Thames Valley League.

Both these new opportunities will start their journey with several open trials commencing Thursday 16th June from 6.00 until 8.00pm, at The Atrium Health Club, the partnership home of Reading City FC.

As it is well known the great facilities of the Atrium help to underpin the development of Reading City. Our youngsters will also get the opportunity to play at Reading City’s stadium.

As a club we are committed to providing local youngsters with a fantastic pathway into senior football, so please come along to a trial and find out more. No registration is necessary, and you can just turn up. If you have any further questions please contact our Head of Development, Dave Wyeth who will be in attendance at the trials via dave@cdgroundsmaintenance.com
